Haa Valley
The Haa valley is one of the most exotic place to visit in Bhutan. The famous sites to visit in the Haa valley are 7th century white temple which is known as Lhakhang Karpo and the Black temple which is known as Lakhang Nagpo at the foothills of the mountains known as Meri Puensum. The other place worth visiting in the valley is The Haa Wnagchuklo Dzong which was built in 1915 A.D after Dumchong Dzong was razed by fire.
This valley is also a combination of wonderful folk cultures and legendary rituals. The same traditions are followed in almost all the communities. The most notable ceremony that is performed over here in the Haa Valley is the annual ceremony to honor Ap Chundu, the guardian deity of the valley.
This is also regarded as a paradise for the nature lovers because of the beautiful scenery it possess.
