      o Drepung Monastery: One of Tibet's largest monasteries, once housing up to 10,000 monks.

      o Sera Monastery: Famous for its lively debating monks.

    • Drive to Rongbuk Monastery, the highest monastery in the world. On the way, you will get a great view of entire Himalayan peaks including Mount Everest, Joyu, Lhotse, Makalu etc from the top of the pass called Pangla at the elevation of 5000m, From Everest Base Camp (EBC)near Rongbuk monastery, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of Mount Everest.
